Kalzip – the application determines the design

Kalzip® aluminium profiled sheets are suitable for ventilated and non-ventilated roof designs and all shapes and pitches of roof from 1.5 °.  They are also suitable for all substructures and supporting structures. The structural design is tailored to suit the specific application and by choosing the appropriate thickness of insulating material can be adapted to suit the precise requirements of the building.

A Kalzip non-ventilated roof on a trapezoidal steel deck is a very economical roof system and is mainly used for industrial and residential buildings.
Another option is the non-ventilated roof on purlins with a trapezoidal inner skin. This design is specified when the purlins are aligned parallel to the top layer.

Roof structures with timber rafters and a visible timber lining are often used for residential buildings. Kalzip also offers the ideal roof design for this type of application.

A non-ventilated roof design is often not possible due to the large distances between the vapour barrier and the roof skin. Here a Kalzip ventilated roof with thermal insulation of the rafter level is recommended.

Kalzip Duo 100 and Kalzip DuoPlus 100  are energy-saving roof systems which offer exceptional thermal insulation and a high level of sound insulation. Furthermore, this system is extremely economical due to its prefabricated system components which ensure speedy installation.

Kalzip Prodach combines functionality with design. The rigid thermal insulation provides an ideal base for Kalzip AF profiles and offers highly efficient acoustic and thermal insulation.

The Kalzip Foamglas system represents the development of a roof design with extremely versatile insulation and therefore exceptional performance characteristics. The end result is a building envelope which is completely safe, durable and maintenance-free.

The Kalzip NatureRoof is an advanced green roofing system which can be used with Kalzip 65/333 profiles taking into account the static requirements.

Kalzip AluPlusSolar combines renewable power generation using roof-integrated photovoltaics with the maximum freedom of architectural design to create stunning buildings.

The Kalzip AF profiled sheets have a level ribless profile which creates a smooth and discreet appearance. These profiled sheets should only be used with rigid thermal insulation, e.g. combined with the Prodach or Foamglas insulation systems or installed directly onto a timber lining.

Kalzip offers a full range of perfectly matched system components and accessories, which provide sophisticated interior and exterior drainage solutions and therefore guarantee a technically advanced and innovative construction system which offers maximum durability throughout the entire life of the building.
